This pendant shows your colours! The world-famous peace sign, a symbol of the peace movement, was designed in 1958 by British artist Gerald Holtom and originally created as a symbol against nuclear armament. It combines the letters N (for nuclear) and D (for disarmament) from the flag alphabet: for D, one flag points up and one down, while N is formed by two flags tilted diagonally downwards. The circle symbolises the Earth. The brightly polished pendant, 12mm in diameter and almost 3mm high, was completely set with small white zircons using micro pavé or micro settings in high-quality jewellery craftsmanship. The meaningfully sparkling glitter pendant in sterling silver 925 is a conscious statement, a sign of the desire for worldwide peace. To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of this piece of jewellery, the surface has been rhodium-plated to protect against tarnishing.
